Fleekart breaks this linear “buy-use-dump” cycle. Most items don't reach the end of their life — they just reach the end of their first owner's interest. By connecting users to give pre-loved items a second life, we keep good products working and prevent unnecessary waste, thereby saving raw resources and reducing carbon emissions.Before you install
Six straight answers.
Is there really zero cash involved?
Yes. Every exchange is in Plinks and nothing else. Asking for cash, UPI, a bank transfer or a gift card is against the rules, and money prices in a listing or chat are removed. There is nothing to pay at handover, so there is nothing to carry.
What if the other person doesn't turn up?
You report the no-show from the exchange in the app. The absent person has 12 hours to contest it. A confirmed no-show releases your held Plinks and costs the person who did not turn up a Plinks penalty; repeated no-shows lead to suspension. Full detail is in the Community Guidelines.
Do Plinks ever expire?
No. They stay in your wallet until you use them. The only way to lose them is to delete your account, which forfeits whatever is left.
Can I buy Plinks, or cash them out?
Plinks are not money. They have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, sold, transferred outside the app or exchanged for money. You earn them by giving, inviting and sharing stories; a top-up option is planned and will be announced in the app.
What can't be listed?
Medicines and supplements; opened or expired cosmetics; unsafe or tampered electrical goods; weapons; live animals; counterfeit, recalled or stolen goods; hazardous materials; alcohol, tobacco, vapes and drugs; food. The full list is in the Community Guidelines and listings are checked before they go live.
Who sees my phone number and address?
Nobody. A listing shows your area and a distance band, never your address, map point or number. Once an exchange is accepted, the two of you get a text chat, an agreed pickup point only you two can see, and calls through a masked number. At handover a one-time pickup code, valid for 30 minutes, confirms the exchange.
